Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Domestic disputes:
Police arrested a 45-year-old woman at 2:10 a.m.. Wednesday on a charge alleging domestic violence assault. Police lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Theft:
A headlamp, valued at $40, was reported stolen at 9:31 p.m. Tuesday near Sesame Street.
Vehicle accidents:
A 24-year-old man was cited at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday after driving his 1970 Chevy pickup truck into a 1994 Ford pickup truck near outbound Egan Drive and Salmon Creek. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Chevy and $1,000 to the Ford.
Vandalism:
A man reported at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday that a van was spraypainted sometime during the last two days near Willoughby Avenue. No damage estimate was available.
At 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, a door to a Atlin Drive storage building was reported vandalized. No damage estimate was available.
Animal encounters:
Police received a report at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday of two bear cubs on a balcony of a residence in the 11000 block of Glacier Highway.
Other:
Capital City Fire and Rescue crews put out a fire in a toilet at Skater's Cabin near Mendenhall Lake. They responded to the call at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday and extinguished the smoldering fire with a dry chemical. Damage to the toilet was reported as minimal.
