About 155 students and 32 adults at four Juneau schools - Gastineau in Douglas, Riverbend and Glacier Valley in the Mendenhall Valley, and Harborview downtown - participated in International Walk to School Day. It was sponsored by the Juneau Safe Kids Coalition and is intended to promote physical activity and pedestrian safety.
