The polls now indicate that they may make the same mistake this year. The Republican candidate for governor is side-stepping or taking both sides on every controversial issue. Her campaign consists of glittering generalities, pleasing photographs and an espousal of all things Alaskans love. I hope that my friends and neighbors won't fall for the same trick twice.
