Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:
At about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 47-year-old man reported an assault but did not wish to pursue charges in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
At about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, Linda Mauch, 40, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At about 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, a fire was put out by Capital City Fire and Rescue in the attic of a residence in the 8500 block of Nugget Place. There were no injuries reported, and damage to the residence was estimated at $8,000 to $10,000.
At about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, a 17-year-old man reported that his vehicle was struck while parked, causing $2,500 in damage in the 1600 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 2 p.m. Tuesday, a 26-year-old woman reported the theft of items valued at $7,265 from her vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 43-year-old woman reported a broken vehicle window and the theft of an iPod in the 200 block of Behrends Avenue.
At about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 72-year-old woman reported that her purse was stolen. The purse was recovered but the items from the purse, valued at $1,200, were missing in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 38-year-old man reported the theft of merchandise from a business in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.
At about 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, a 32-year-old woman reported the theft of $1,200 worth of movies and CDs in the Mendenhall Loop Road.
