Indictments:
Alfredo Jaimes, 37, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, stemming from a Sept. 23 incident allegedly involving cocaine in downtown Juneau.
Shaun P. McMahon, 31, was indicted by a grand jury on felony charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief and a misdemeanor count of third-degree theft, stemming from an alleged Sept. 27 theft from a downtown business.
Kyle D. Nalan, 24, was indicted by a grand jury on seven felony perjury counts, alleging he made false sworn statements on Aug. 25 concerning cocaine on a state ferry.
Judgments:
Charles Green was found guilty of felony third-degree misconduct involving weapons, stemming from a July 19 incident. Juneau Superior Court Judge Patricia Collins imposed two years in jail. She dismissed a misdemeanor fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons charge and a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge.
Raina Rich, 24, was found guilty of felony perjury by inconsistent statements, stemming from a June 5 proceeding. Collins imposed eight months in jail.
Deanna A. Starr, 28, was found guilty of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and reckless endangerment. The charges stem from a July 26 traffic accident at Mendenhall Loop Road and Stephen Richards Memorial Parkway, after which Starr's blood-alcohol level was measured at .216 percent. Juneau District Judge Peter B. Froehlich imposed 109 days in jail with 100 days suspended on each of the charges. He ordered that the unsuspended jail time be served as 18 consecutive days. On the drunken driving charge, he fined Starr $3,000 with $1,500 suspended and revoked her driver's license for 90 days. For each charge, Froehlich placed Starr on probation for two years.
Michael E. Sweeney, 63, was found guilty of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, stemming from a June 30 incident. Froehlich imposed 220 days in jail with 160 days suspended and a $4,000 fine. He revoked Sweeney's driver's license for three years and placed him on probation for three years. A charge of refusing to submit to a chemical test at the time of his arrest was dismissed at the request of the prosecutor. Sweeney's blood-alcohol concentration was unavailable.
Aaron S. Overton, 22, was found guilty of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Aug. 15 incident. Froehlich imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended and a $3,000 fine with $1,500 suspended. He also revoked Overton's license for 90 days and placed him on probation for two years. At the prosecutor's request, he dismissed misdemeanor charges alleging reckless endangerment and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Overton's blood-alcohol concentration was not available.
Steven Vanders, 18, was found guilty of underage drinking, stemming from a June 14 incident. Froehlich imposed a $1,000 fine with $500 suspended, placed him on probation until age 21 and revoked his driver's license for nine months with six months suspended.
Jeremy Reusch, 20, was found guilty of underage drinking, stemming from a Sept. 11 incident. Froehlich imposed a $600 fine with $400 suspended and placed Reusch on probation for one year.
Mike Pitka, 20, of Angoon, was found not guilty of underage drinking, stemming from an Aug. 31 incident.
