Golden King Salmon, driven by Austin Roberts, left, and the Sports Fisher, driven by Thor Stenfjord, await the start of their race with their pit crews behind them last Saturday in the annual Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Humpy 500 Go-Cart race. Youth contestants race modified 55-gallon drums for prizes in originality, sealife costume and fastest time. The event marks the official end of the salmon canning season.
