Californians don't care about Alaskans, fishermen, loggers, miners, laborers, hospital workers, administrative assistants, or any of the other fine, hard-working Alaska residents. The tea party cares only about their goals.
The truth of the matter is that U.S. Congress participation on committees and selection of committee chairs is a seniority system. Our beloved Sen. Ted Stevens had a powerful ally in Sen. Dan Inouye (D-Hawaii). With their seniority, they helped each other despite the fact they belonged to opposing parties. But they did belong to the "Non-Contiguous Party." Only our senators and congressman care about us and will submit a bill or budget line item on our behalf. Getting them passed takes seniority and experience.
My candidate supports Alaska industries and jobs and even helping another Alaskan when they're down by supporting unemployment and job training funds.
If you are not a resident of Alaska, pay property tax here, work here, help a neighbor cut and haul wood for the winter, put up fish from one of our bountiful rivers to feed your family, hunt a moose or Sitka black tail deer, you are not a member of the "Non-Contiguous Party" and I don't care who you want us to vote for. Your interests are not ours.
That is why I'm writing in Lisa Murkowski for U.S. Senate.
