"Don't be afraid and do your research, because it is a beatable disease. They caught mine early and I'm doing great today. ... My grandmother, Lucille Dick, passed away in her 70s. By the time they found it, it was too late. I have daughters who check themselves on a regular basis and have actually had a biopsy too. I've lost a couple of relatives to breast cancer. ... It led me to pursue my mammos on a regular basis."
