Photo: A mile in their shoes

Participants braved stormy weather during the first annual Walk for the Poor on Sept. 25. The route began and ended at St. Paul's Catholic Church, the turnaround point being the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. A non-denominational prayer service was also held.
