Free English as a Second Language and citizenship classes

The Learning Connection (TLC) recently received funds from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to provide English and citizenship classes in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan for adults ages 18 and older. Classes will begin on Tuesday.

Classes at TLC's downtown location (210 Ferry Way) will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes at the Gruening Park location (1800 Northwood Drive, Apt. G-49) will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. Citizenship, beginning, advanced and conversation classes are available, along with classes in Sitka and Ketchikan.
