Juneau-Douglas High School students Kelly Fernandez, left, Ashley Troupin, center, and Alisha Mack stage a mock-runway show Wednesday in Ali McKenna's classroom in anticipation of the Second Annual Trashin' Fashion Show. For the show, designers were tasked with creating dresses out of plastic bags, paper bags and duct tape. Their creations will be modeled at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Juneau-Douglas High School auditorium. Troupin and Fernandez will model together with "Colidiscoope Rave" and Mack will model a piece from Rick Tagaban called "Urban Native." Admission is $5. The fashion show is a fundraiser for Ego, a monthly student publication.
