Sgt. Austen Clair, a 2003 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, returned from a year's deployment to Iraq with the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry from Fort Wainwright on Sept. 3. Clair is the son of Lynda Giguere and Rick Clair, of Douglas. His next assignment in November is to Fort Bliss, Texas, where he will train troops for overseas deployment.
