FAIRBANKS - The remains of a 42-year-old Fairbanks man who disappeared two years ago have been found in Pennsylvania.
Thomas Zinza left Fairbanks in February 2008 and was last seen checking into a hotel in the small eastern Pennsylvania town of Emlenton.
His skeletal remains were discovered by a hunter in a wooded area about two miles from the hotel.
No foul play is suspected.
Zinza's brother tells the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that Zinza had flown to Cleveland and his destination was supposed to be Boston to see his parents and ex-wife.
John Zinza says his brother never got on the plane from Cleveland to Boston.
Thomas Zinza was a disabled veteran who suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. He served in Panama and Liberia and had lived in Fairbanks for seven years.
