Miller 15th at Portland Marathon
Juneau runner Shawn Miller finished 15th overall in a field of more than 5,800 at the Portland Marathon, held Oct. 3 in downtown Portland, Ore.
Miller, 24, completed the 26.2-mile course in 2 hours, 43 minutes, 30 seconds. He finished third in the mens age 20-24 division. The marathon had 5,838 finishers this year.
Two other Juneau runners completed the race, according to results on the Web at www.portlandmarathon.org. Juneau's Jan Beauchamp finished 2,688th overall in 4:28:38, and Laura Stats finished 2,771st overall in 4:30:35.
