Recent births at Bartlett Regional Hospital:

• On Oct. 1, 2007, a daughter, Lisa Ariah Kookesh-Booth, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces, to Reanna Stella Kookesh-Booth and William Jay Booth, of Juneau.

• On Oct. 3, 2007, a son, Adrian Thomas Skeek, weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces, to Lorenda Jean McKinley, of Juneau.

• On Oct. 3, 2007, a daughter, Emma Carol Johnson, weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces, to Marilyn Elizabeth James, of Angoon.

• On Oct. 7, 2007, a son, Isaac Shawn Phelps, weighing 9 pounds, 13 ounces, to Rachel Nell and Shawn Michael Phelps, of Juneau.

• On Oct. 7, 2007, a daughter, Johnny Tompkins, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, to Margaret Ruth and Guy William Tompkins, of Douglas.

• On Sept. 27, 2007, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, a son, James Edward Henry Hurlbut, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, to Darlene Hurlbut and James Norman, of Juneau.

Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Romy Yadao, 35, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an April 14 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .138 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Yadao $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Paul Marshall, 23, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a June 21 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .10 percent. Sivertsen imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Marshall $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Frank Lee, 55, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Aug. 19 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .212 percent. Sivertsen imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Lee $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Joshua Mahle, 26, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 24 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .160 percent. Sivertsen imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Mahle $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.
