Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:


• At about 3:10 p.m. Saturday, a 48-year-old man reported that he was assaulted by a 39-year-old man in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.

Domestic dispute:

• At about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault in the Mendenhall Valley. Alcohol was involved. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Sex crime:

• At about 5 a.m. Sunday, police opened a confidential investigation into a sexual assault. Alcohol was involved.


• At about 7 p.m. Saturday, a 78-year-old woman reported a bottle of blood pressure medication stolen from her vehicle in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The medication was valued at $100.

• At about 7 p.m. Saturday, a 39-year-old woman reported the theft of an auto navigation system worth $672 in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 8 a.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old woman reported her vehicle stolen and later located in the 4100 block of Riverside Drive.

Traffic accident:

• At about 7 p.m. Saturday, a 25-year-old woman was struck by a 1999 Chevrolet on Glacier Highway.

• At about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, a 29-year-old man was cited on a charge of failure to yield on Glacier Highway when his 1994 Subaru was involved in an accident with a 2005 Pontiac driven by a 41-year-old woman, and a 2008 Honda driven by a 53-year-old man. The Subaru and Pontiac each sustained about $10,000 in damage, and the Honda sustained about $1,500 in damage.


• At about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, a 35-year-old woman reported someone popping a tire on her 1980 Ford and her 1991 Ford in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. Damage was estimated at $400.
