Incredulous about critics of Bush

Letter to the editor

In response to Lowell S. Barrick's comments, "Ample grounds for impeachment," on Oct. 13, who's going to impeach the president, the Republican-controlled Congress?

The truth is, there is no appeasing Mr. Bush's critics. They will live a lifetime fretting over the 2000 election and will remain incredulous that the American people returned Mr. Bush to office last year. This president has three more years left in his term.

I would be equally incredulous if the junior senator from New York were to succeed Mr. Bush.
