Alaska Native Sisterhood and Alaska Native Brotherhood Camp No. 2 members pose for a photo during a meeting, circa 1964, at the Salvation Army Church on Willoughby Avenue. They held their meetings at the church while the ANB Hall was under construction. The hall was completed in 1965 and replaced with the Andrew Hope Building in the early 1980s. The ANB held its 93rd annual convention in Juneau last week. In the front row, from left, are Stella Martin, Dorothy Wallace, Alice Vavalis, Nellie Bennett, Francis Smith, Beverly Brisco, Dorothy Thornton and Teresa Bell. In the back row, from left, are Henry Cropley, unknown, unknown, William Smith, Walter Soboleff, unknown, Amos Wallace, Herbert Mercer, Jim Austin and Robert Martin.
