Juneau residents Diane Howell and Gary Diekmann were married Sept. 10, at the Governor's Mansion. A reception followed the ceremony at the Moose Lodge.
She is the daughter of the late Guy and Bernice Willis. She attended Banks High School in Banks, Ore. She is on staff at the Governor's Mansion.
He is the son of Lillian Diekmann and the late Harry Diekmann. He attended Crofton High School in Crofton, Neb. He is a diesel mechanic for Miller Construction.
The matron of honor was Jennifer Obermiller. Bridesmaids were Erin Howell and Bonnie Kaiser. The flower girls were Kallie and Sammy Jo Kostenko. The best man was Chad Diekmann. Groomsmen were Chance Chamberlain and Brent Howell. The ring bearers were Wyatt Obermiller and Aiden Diekmann. Ushers were Jeremy Kostenko and John Willis.
The bride was given away by her son, Brent Howell and her brother, Jack Willis. The ceremony was officiated by Gov. Murkowski and Romer Derr.
The couple honeymooned in Oregon and Washington. They will make their home in Juneau.
