...for your kindness.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Student Investment Fund recently attended the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation's annual meeting and gave a presentation on behalf of our fund to the APFC Board of Trustees. During our time at the meeting we had the opportunity to interact with and learn from members of the APFC staff and investment professionals from industry leading firms. In order for our part in these events to occur successfully, the help of several individuals was solicited. The UAF Student Investment Fund would like to thank all those who added to the success of this endeavor.
First and foremost, the APFC Board of Trustees deserves special recognition for giving us presentation time at the annual meeting. The chance to showcase our fund in front of industry professionals provides our members with an incredible advantage as we head into the workforce.
The Student Investment Fund would also like to thank the APFC employees for allowing us to visit their organization. Their courtesy made our trip much more enjoyable. Certain employees also went out of their way to help us while in Juneau. Joan Cahill assisted in preparing our presentation, and made sure our members were included in all the events taking place at the meeting. In addition, Matt Wood, Chris Lavallee and Michael Bell took time to escort us around the APFC office and UAS campus.
Finally, we are grateful to the Frontier Suites Airport Hotel for providing us with lodging and transportation.
To all those in Juneau who made this trip possible, the University of Alaska Fairbanks Student Investment Fund thanks you for your help. Our experience was excellent, and we look forward to visiting again.
President, UAF Student Investment Fund
