• A bear was reported in unsecured garbage shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway.

Assault:

• A 55-year-old man was arrested at about 3:35 p.m. Sunday on Franklin Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A 19-year-old woman was arrested at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on Fifth Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. She was lodged at the state prison.

Drunken driving:

• Kevin Nieme, 23, was arrested at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday in the 11500 block of Mendenhall Loop Road on a charge of drunken driving. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

Vandalism:

• At about 2:45 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that vandals broke the living room window of a Portage Boulevard home sometime the night before. The cost of the damage was unknown.

• At about 4:20 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that vandals damaged a mailbox and post, worth about $80, on Portage Boulevard.
