Recycled promises

No one should be surprised that Frank Murkowski would believe he can build his super projects without concerns about funding. He is a banker. He will simply borrow the money from your Permanent Fund divided.

It sounds to me like Murkowski has been borrowing worn out campaign promises from former Gov. Wally Hickel. Wally told us he was going to build a railroad from Fairbanks to Nome, a gas pipeline to Valdez and run a huge water hose from Alaska to California. Like Frank, Wally wouldn't tell us where the money for these projects was going to come from and Frank, like Wally, will never built anything with just talk.
