Amber Marshall of Juneau and Jacob Beck of Whangaeri, New Zealand, will be married at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Juneau. A reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Juneau Yacht Club. Friends and family are invited.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jack and Judy Marshall. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed as an accountant for AK EED, Child Nutrition.
The groom-elect is the son of Paul and Linda Beck. He is a graduate of Northland Polytechnic, New Zealand, and is employed as a steward for the Alaska Marine Highway System.
The maid of honor will be the bride's sister, Tawney Marshall. Bridesmaids will be Leah Beck, Christina See, Jennifer White and Umabhagwati Khalsa. Kendra and Ashley Wittwer will be flower girls.
The best man will be the brother of the bride, Dirk Marshall. Brian Weed, David Foucalt, and Russel See will be groomsmen. Keigan Helms will be the ring bearer.
The couple will honeymoon in New Zealand and make their home in Juneau.
