Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Nathaniel Jones, 19, was arrested for drunken driving and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance at 2:12 a.m. Sunday near the Valley Breeze-In. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.


• At 9:27 a.m. Sunday, a 44-year-old Sitka residence reported his 2004 red Ford pickup truck was vandalized within the last week near Squire's Rest. The truck's gas tank, worth $500, was punctured with an unknown object.

Domestic violence:

• A man, 42, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. Saturday in the Juneau area for violating conditions of a domestic-violence protective order. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Found property:

• At 12:02 p.m. Saturday near Riverside Drive, a 53-year-old man who found a blue Motorola two-way radio gave the device to police.

Bear sightings:

• At 12:39 p.m. Saturday, police were notified that a non-aggressive bear was "wandering" near Gastineau Avenue.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 1:58 p.m. Saturday, a woman, 60, reported her 1998 red Buick was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing an unknown amount of damage, near Miner Drive.

• A man, 47, was cited at 6:25 p.m. Saturday near West Willoughby Avenue for driving without a license, failing to provide proof of insurance and leaving the scene of an accident. His 1998 blue Ford had collided with a 1993 green Mazda hatchback.
