Foss, Rice wed

Lola Foss, of Sitka, and Doug Rice, of Winterset, Iowa, were married Oct. 5, 2008, at Canterbury Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Scott A. and Roberta Foss Sr. A University of Alaska Southeast graduate, she is the director of finance and human resource for the Sealaska Heritage Institute.

The groom is the son of Jim Rice, of Soldotna, and Mary Lee Rice, of Bondurant, Iowa. A Bridgewater-Fontanelle graduate, he works in flight service for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The couple will honeymoon in the Bahamas and will make their home in Juneau.
