Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Warrant arrests:

Shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 19, was arrested on an outstanding $5,000 Ketchikan Alaska State Troopers' warrant. The original charge was first-degree sexual abuse of a minor. He was also charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license. The arrest took place on Egan Drive inbound near Salmon Creek.

Thefts, lost & found items:

Shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, a purple women's bike found at Foodland was turned in to the Juneau Police Department.

Shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday, a black Nokia cell phone and a black stethoscope were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Seater Street on Friday night or Saturday morning.

About 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 58, reported from Echo Cove that a portable air compressor, several CDs and a car jack were stolen from his locked vehicle.

At 1 p.m. Tuesday, a girl, 17, was placed under citizen's arrest for shoplifting at the Mendenhall Mall. She was released to her guardian.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 48, reported losing her wallet at the Nugget Mall. The wallet contained identification, credit cards and cash.

Shortly after 3 a.m. today, a man, 36, reported his black flight-style jacket stolen at the Imperial Bar.

Traffic citations:

Shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 22, was cited and released on Fourth Street for driving without a valid license.

About 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 40, was cited and released on Shaune Drive for driving without a valid license. His vehicle was impounded.

About 7 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 42, was cited and released on Hurlock Avenue for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 22, was cited and released on Glacier Highway for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 49, reported two windows to a shop on Third Street had been broken. Damage was estimated at $600.

Vehicle accidents:

About 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pioneer Avenue. A 1994 Ford pickup, driven by a man, 47, suffered no damage. A 1989 Saab, driven by a man, 34, suffered $250 damage.

Hit-and-run incidents:

Shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 26, reported her Honda Civic was damaged in a hit-and-run some time between 10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle, parked on West 12th Street, sustained damage to the driver's side quarter panel.

Animal encounters:

About 7 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a bear on Garnet Street.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a theft from a South Franklin Street gift shop. The theft was reported to the Juneau Police Department on Sept. 9. Missing from inside a display case were an ebony and silver-color Damascus brand Bowie-style knife (valued at approximately $450); a tan Damascus Skinner-style knife ($400); a silver Damascus whale's tail pendant on a sterling neck chain ($50); a Speedy Sharp knife sharpener ($14); and a Marine Tuff cloth knife blade cleaner ($11).
