Rachel Schwartz reads a book to her 15-month-old daughter, Ella, on Monday during Toddler Time at the Mendenhall Valley library. The program is held every Monday at the valley and downtown libraries, where a small group of toddlers and parents sing songs, read stories and work on early literacy and language development. Toddler Time is free and open to the public.
