It just so happens that I had the privilege of attending the Northwest Division Little League Conference, which was hosted in Salem, Ore., last weekend.

A good number of the adult leaders attended the conference hosted in Juneau in September 2002. Many have been to the Mendenhall Glacier and past Thunder Mountain. Some of them are from Boise, Idaho, or Olympia, Wash., and have towns with Capital Highs.
My unofficial "polling" and conversations with a good number of the nearly 150 folk present is - "be unique, Juneau" and establish Thunder Mountain High.
