Recent births at Inside Passage Midwifery:

• On Oct. 16, 2007, a daughter, Lillian Yvonne Feldmann, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces, to Angela and Scott Feldmann, of Juneau.

Marriage licenses

The following are marriage licenses recently filed with the state Bureau of Vital Statistics in Juneau:

• Hector Garcia and Josere Moises Carrillo, of Juneau.

• William Sessoms, of Juneau, and Linda Carol Welch, of Bethany, Okla.

• Matt Scott Grauman and Yvonne Phyllis Cadogan, of Juneau.

• Daniel Mann II and Sylvia Caitlin Tanya Dock, of Kipnuk.

Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Erik Emert, 35, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 7 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .104 percent. Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Emert $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Jana Sooter, 55, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a July 13 incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .179 percent. Acting District Court Judge Ethan L. Windahl imposed 90 days in jail with 70 days suspended, fined Sooter $3,000 with none suspended, revoked her license for one year and put her on probation for two years.

• Joseph Fournier, 44, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an Aug. 2 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .200 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, fined Fournier $1,500 with none suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for one year.

• Thomas LeBlanc, 23, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Aug. 8 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .128 percent. Windahl imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined LeBlanc $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for one year.

• Charles R. Grosvold, 33, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an Aug. 10 incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .185 percent. Sivertsen imposed 365 days in jail with 300 days suspended, fined Grosvold $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for 6 years.
