Native group plans veterans march

ANCHORAGE - Organizers of the Alaska Federation of Natives' annual convention are calling on Native veterans and current military members to take part in a veterans march kicking off this year's event.
The convention takes place Oct. 23-25 at Anchorage's new Dena'ina Center.
March participants are asked to meet at the top floor of the center no later than 8:30 a.m. next Thursday.
The march is scheduled for 9:05 a.m. that same day.
