Former longtime Juneau resident Diane "Lena" Snider-Olson died at 2:19 am. Oct. 13, 2009, at Downey Regional Medical Center in Downey, Calif. She was 58.
Born Aug. 28, 1951, in Inglewood, Calif., she was a Juneau resident for more than 30 years.
"Diane is now with her son, true love and Ginger dog, whom she loved dearly," her family wrote. "She was a fun-loving, outgoing person. She touched many hearts. She will be remembered and miss by all who knew her."
She is survived by her father, Ron Hoyt; two brothers, Steve and Butch Hoyt; daughter, Sherry Petranovich; five grandchildren, Alicia, Jessica, Shelyn, Brianna and Chance; and two great-grandchildren, Leah Reney and Eirik Tristyn.
