ANCHORAGE - While a woman was in the hospital her 18-year-old son held a house party that turned rowdy in Anchorage.

The Anchorage Daily News reports police responded to a report of gunfire at 4 a.m. Saturday at a house where the people inside hid and refused to come out.

Police entered and arrested 16 adults and five juveniles on charges that included disorderly conduct and underage drinking.

Officers found a spent shell casing but no firearm or gunfire damage.
