Health problems not a 'burden' or 'stigma'

In response to Alan R. Munro's remarks: I am not "burdened" by illness, I carry no "stigma," nor do I assign either term to anyone. To do so is unconscionable.

I am an active advocate and one who knows that positive language achieves far more than the two negative metaphors above.

I am a person with a serious health problem for which I receive treatment. In fact, with several serious health problems for which I receive treatment. I see no reason to divide those problems into "physical" and "mental," and wonder why we have a system of health that does.
