Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Domestic violence:
Police arrested a 55-year-old man at 8:59 p.m. Sunday near Dock Street on a charge alleging domestic violence assault. Police lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Theft:
At 6:51 a.m. Monday, a vending machine valued at $250 was reported stolen during the weekend from the area of Mendenhall Loop Road and Glacier Spur Road.
Vandalism:
A man reported at 1:02 p.m. Sunday that two tires had been slashed on his vehicle near Glacier Highway. The loss was estimated at $160.
A man reported at 1:38 p.m. Sunday that a metal frame window, measuring 2 feet by 4 feet, had been broken out at a Lemon Creek Road residence. No damage estimate was available.
A man reported at 5:56 p.m. Sunday that a vehicle drove by his Taku Boulevard residence and shot paint balls at his vehicles and house.
Traffic stop:
Police cited a 22-year-old man on charges alleging he was driving without a license and without insurance at 10:54 p.m. Sunday on outbound Egan Drive at the retaining wall. Police released the man but impounded the vehicle.
Animal encounters:
A bear was reported at 6:41 a.m. Monday getting into garbage near North Douglas Highway.
Other:
Police arrested a 31-year-old man at 7:32 p.m. Sunday on charges alleging forgery and third-degree theft. Police lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
