Former Juneau resident, Bill Worrell, 84, died in Anchorage on Oct. 16, 2004.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1919, in Salmon, Idaho. He served in the Navy as a flight engineer/aviation mechanic from Oct. 14, 1943, to Dec. 27, 1945. He moved to Juneau with his family in 1960 from Bellingham, Wash. He lived in Hoonah for the past five years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Worrell, and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Virginia, Bill, Bob and Debbie; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in Hoonah at the Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. Everyone is welcome.
