Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested 59-year-old Shirley McCoy on a charge of drunken driving at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday on Old Dairy Road. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle she was driving.
Disorderly conduct:
Police arrested a 56-year-old man on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. They lodged him at the state prison.
Theft:
A mountain bike missing a wheel was reported stolen at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Third Street downtown.
Cash totaling $500 was reported stolen at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Riverside Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.
Shoplifting:
Police took a 15-year-old boy to school at 8:05 a.m. Thursday after citing him on a shoplifting charge in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
Vandalism:
Two windows were reported sprayed with paint at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.
Traffic stops:
Police impounded a vehicle at 8:42 a.m. Thursday at Glacier Highway and Central Avenue in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a 24-year-old man, on a charges of driving without a license or insurance.
Hit and run:
A 1998 Ford was reported at 1:06 p.m. to have struck another vehicle in the 100 block of Front Street downtown.
A 1995 Chrysler Cirrus was reported at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday to have been struck by an unknown vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
Animal encounters:
At 10:23 p.m. Wednesday, a bear was reported getting into trash in the 5800 block of North Street in the Lemon Creek area. At 7:19 a.m. Thursday, a bear was reported having gotten into trash in the 6000 block of Gull Way in the Lemon Creek area. A bear also was reported at 7:23 a.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
