Juneau wide receiver Mike Winters, left, is tackled by East Anchorage linebacker Joe Lyman, center, and defensive back Ryan Bailey, partially hidden at right, after making a catch during last Saturday's state championship game at Anchorage Football Stadium. East won the game 33-15. It was Juneau's first-ever state title game appearance.

Above: Juneau defenders (in dark jerseys, from left) Jake Ritter, Charlie Moline and Josh Lehauli bring down East Anchorage running back Ryan Stickler (with the ball) as East Anchorage tight end Corey Macon tries to pull Moline off his teammate during last Saturday's game.

Right: Elenoa Lehauli, holding the sign, and other Juneau-Douglas High School fans cheer on the Crimson Bears during last Saturday's game. Several Juneau volleyball players, who played in Anchorage at the Service-Dimond Tournament last weekend, were among the fans in the stands.
