Juneau resident David Earl Reel died Oct. 18, 2004.
He was born April 27, 1966, in Maryland. He had lived in Juneau for eight years and was employed in the construction and roofing business. He was raised in West Virginia and attended Clay Battelle Junior/Senior High School in Blacksville, W.Va.
He was a member of the Glacier Valley Church of God in Juneau.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Reel of Juneau; and his brother, James W. Reel of Morgantown, W.Va.
He is survived by his father, George (step-mother Margaret) Reel; mother, Marilyn Irene (step-father Ray) Nichols; two step-sons, Luke Grim of the U.S. Army, and Nathaniel (Mim) Grim of Nome; two brothers, George Edward Reel Jr., of Centerville, Md., and Carroll J. Miller Jr., of Core, W. Va.; sister, Barbara A. Sperandio of Core, W.Va.; grandchildren, Bradley and Spencer Grim of Nome; four nieces, Kimberly and Stephanie Sperandio, and Ashley Miller, all of Core, W.Va., and Nicole Reel of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Pallbearers and honorary pall bearers will be Bob Drulley, Dean Clark, Luke Grim, Nathaniel Grim, Todd Evans and Bobbie Drulley.
A viewing will be held at the Alaskan Memorial Park and Mortuary at 1 p.m. Friday Oct. 22, 2004, followed by graveside services.
