Some frozen vegetables recalled in Alaska

ANCHORAGE - The Pictsweet Company is recalling some frozen peas and mixed vegetables because they may be contaminated by broken glass.

The Anchorage Daily News reports the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation confirms suspect products have been distributed in the state. Consumers should return them to the store where they were purchased.

The affected products are: Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Sweet Peas (UPC 78742 08369), best by dates of July 20, 2012 or July 21, 2012; and Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Mixed Vegetables (UPC 78742 08026), best by date of July 15, 2012.
