Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Vehicle accidents:
Police cited the driver of a Mercury for failing to maintain a safe distance from a Chevrolet in an accident at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday on Glacier Highway. Police reported one injury. No information on its nature was available. Damage to the Mercury was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $200.
A man reported that his parked Honda Accord was struck by a Dodge pickup driven by a man at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday at West Willoughby Avenue.
Hit and run:
A woman reported at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday that her 2003 Toyota was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked near Commercial Boulevard in the Lemon Creek area.
Theft:
A woman, 20, reported her cellular telephone was stolen at 6:16 p.m. Tuesday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.
Vandalism:
A woman, 19, reported at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday that her bedroom window had been painted black by unknown vandals near Postal Way. No damage estimate was available.
Traffic stop:
Police cited a man, 74, on a charge of driving a commercial vehicle without a commercial license at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday on outbound Egan Drive at Norway Point. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver.
