Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Thefts:
* A boy's bike, valued at $158, was reported stolen at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday from Mendenhall Loop Road.
* A man reported at 2:42 a.m. today from Highland Drive that two men siphoned gasoline from vehicle and took the gas cap.
Hit-and-run incidents:
* A woman reported at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway that her vehicle was hit in a parking lot by an unknown person around 9 p.m. Saturday.
* A man reported at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday near Commercial Boulevard that his truck was hit by an unknown person in the parking lot Oct. 18 around 2 p.m.
Animal encounters:
* A bear was reported at 9:44 p.m. Monday near Egan Highway and Loop Road.
Crime Line
Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for stealing items worth $1,975 from a vehicle in a parking garage Sept. 14. These items included two Browning 12-gauge shotguns, a Black Copperhead rod, Black Ugly stick, a Daiwa cardinal reel, a camouflage hunting jacket, camouflage waterproof hunting pants and a camouflage raincoat.
