Carly Ann Perkins and Melvin Charles Grey were married July 21, 2001, in the San Diego Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Carl and Debby Perkins of Juneau. She is a graduate of JDHS and is in her last semester of college at Brigham Young Univeristy, where she will graduate with a social sciences degree. She served a mission for the LDS church in the Brasil Recife Mission from Oct. 1998 to March 2000.
The groom-elect is the son of Jane Grey of California and Melvin L. Grey of Hawaii. He graduated from Trabuco Hills High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. He is a manufacturing engineering major at Brigham Young University and also served a two-year mission for the LDS Church in the Monterrey Mexico North Mission.
The couple went to Mexico on their honeymoon. They will make their home in Provo, Utah, until they both finish school.
