A vote for Ratigan is a vote against Rumsfeld

I was surprised to see the news that the Fairbanks Assembly voted against the resolution calling for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's resignation, despite hours of testimony that ran 4 to 1 in support of it. I'm sure many other people statewide were as disappointed as I was. Clearly there is widespread dissatisfaction with the Bush administration's war in Iraq and with those around him who carry it out.

Sound off on the important issues at

Here's a suggestion for all those who want to send that message to Washington: Vote for change. William Ratigan is the one national candidate from Alaska who stands out in his opposition to Rumsfeld and Bush's war in Iraq. His campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives is based on a pledge to fight for the impeachment of President Bush and the dismissal of those who work for his administration. What better way is there to get rid of Rumsfeld than by electing Ratigan to the U.S. House and impeaching his boss?
