Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Nathan Coyle, 18, was arrested for drunken driving and reckless endangerment at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday near the McNugget intersection. He also was cited for minor consuming and driving with his headlights off. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Assaults:
A woman, 21, was arrested for assault at midnight Wednesday near South Franklin Street.
Thefts:
Two boys, 13 and 14, were arrested for shoplifting at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at Costco. The boys were taken to the police station and later released to their parents.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A man reported at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday near Churchill Way that someone spray-painted profanity on his minivan sometime Tuesday night.
Vehicle accidents:
Police cited a man, 19, for careless driving following a one-vehicle accident at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday near Thane Road. The man drove into a ditch. The vehicle sustained only minor damage.
Hit-and-run incidents:
A woman reported at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday from an undisclosed location in Juneau that her black pickup truck was hit by an unknown person about two weeks ago.
A man reported at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday near the Augustus Brown Swimming Pool that someone hit his parked vehicle.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reported Wednesday at 7:34 p.m. near the State Office Building and 10:45 p.m. near Renninger Street.
