JUNEAU - Four members of the Juneau-Douglas High School football team garnered second-team all-state honors Sunday by the Alaska Coaches Association.

Dominic Smith, Alex Robinson, Kanaan Bausler and Donovan Wilson all made the second-team defensive squad. Smith made it as a punter, Bausler as a defensive back while Robinson and Wilson were both tabbed as linebackers for the team.
All four players were first-team All-Railbelt Conference selections.
Juneau-Douglas' defense played well throughout the season, holding opponents to just 15.8 points per game this season.
Railbelt Conference champions and state finalist Colony swept most of the major awards. Justin Beauchamp was named lineman of the year, running back Chebon Jimenez was named the state's top offensively player while defensive player of the year honors went to the Knights' George Perack-Dennett.
South Anchorage's John Lewis was named coach of the year with the Wolverines' Jeff Trotter awarded the title of assistant coach of the year.
