Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Police arrested a man, 22, on an assault charge at 5:15 p.m. Sunday downtown. The man was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 31, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 5:07 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Front Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.


• At 3:22 p.m. Sunday, a digital camera, a hunting knife and prescription drugs were taken from a vehicle the previous night on National Park Road near the Auke Bay Recreation area. The stolen items were valued at $340.

• Police cited a man, 80, on a shoplifting charge at 11:18 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.


• At 10:26 a.m. Monday, a tire was reported slashed on a portable toilet sometime during the summer in Dimond Park in the Mendenhall Valley.


• Police arrested a man, 27, on a trespassing charge at 11:23 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Harris Street downtown. Police lodged him at the state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 63, on a speeding charge after an accident at 8:08 a.m. Monday on Glacier Highway and Lena Loop Road. The woman reportedly lost control of a 1991 Nissan, and the car rolled off of the roadway. Damage was estimated at $4,000.

• Police cited a woman, 33, on a speeding charge after an accident at 8:45 a.m. Monday on outbound Egan Drive near Mendenhall Loop Road. The driver reportedly lost control of a 1990 Honda, which struck a light pole at the side of the road. Damage to the car was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the pole was estimated at $3,000.

Found property:

• At 10:10 p.m. Sunday, a man reported finding a Bryco Arms handgun in the 8600 block of Airport Boulevard.
