Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested 67-year-old Clyde Baldwin on a charge of drunken driving after the Chevrolet Cavalier he was driving reportedly struck a Ford pickup at 5:09 p.m. Monday on North Douglas Highway. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the Cavalier.
Drug activity:
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy on a charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance at 1:38 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Renninger Street. They lodged him at the Johnson Youth Center.
Domestic violence:
Police arrested a 27-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 1:51 a.m. Tuesday downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.
Assault:
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on a charge of assaulting a police officer at 10:16 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive after the boy allegedly struck an officer upon receiving a citation. They lodged him at the Johnson Youth Center.
Burglary:
A burglary was reported at 2:52 p.m. Monday in the 5400 block of Commercial Boulevard. Household items, including two television sets, were reported stolen and valued at $1,600.
Theft:
A 21-year-old woman reported the loss of a silver beaver bracelet and her birth certificate at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Nowell Avenue in the Douglas area.
Vehicle accidents:
A 1987 Honda reportedly went into a ditch at 12:53 p.m. Monday from Glacier Highway in the Tee Harbor area. Damage to the car was estimated at $4,500. No injuries were reported.
A 1988 Ford F150, driven by a 20-year-old man, reportedly struck a barricade at 8:53 p.m. Monday on Mendenhall Mall Road. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Animal encounters:
At 8:20 a.m. Tuesday a bear was reported to have gotten into garbage-proof containers in the 5900 block of Churchill Way in the Lemon Creek area.
