Organization description: Alaska Health Fair is a community institution with the sole mission of promoting statewide health education and medical screenings. By bringing health professionals together with volunteers, Alaska Health Fair educates people about health, chronic disease, prevention and the resources that are available to them in their community.

Volunteer opportunities: Volunteer nurses are needed to help take blood pressures and help with health evaluations for the University of Alaska Southeast Health Fair from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Nov. 1 in the Lake Room, off the Mourant Building cafeteria.
