WASILLA - Wasilla officials have released the results of an online survey regarding all-terrain vehicle use within city limits.
Most of the 140 respondents identified themselves as ATV owners, so it was no surprise that only 14 percent said ATVs should be banned.
But there was some support for restrictions.
For example, 43 percent said 15 years old should be the minimum age for riders, compared with only 21 percent who said there should be no age limit. Others said there should be no limit if the operator is licensed.
The vote was split over requiring an educational course for riders: 45 percent said yes, 46 percent said no. The rest were undecided.
