Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
About 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 39, was arrested at Juneau Drug for shoplifting. He was released at the scene.
About 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police received a report from Douglas Highway that a day planner containing a sizable amount of cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday, police located a man, 50, in possession of a cellular phone downtown. The man was apparently not the owner of the phone. It was taken into safekeeping.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
About 7:30 a.m. Thursday, a man, 29, reported from Stephen Richards Memorial Drive that both the driver and passenger side windows of his Dodge pickup were broken, and a tire was slashed. A rock was found in the vehicle.
About 1:15 p.m. Thursday, an unoccupied Subaru Impreza rolled out of its parking space at Augustus Brown Swimming Pool and struck a parked Audi coupe. The vehicle owners exchanged information.
About 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Dodge Caravan operated by a woman, 25, which was rear-ended by a sport utility van operated by a woman, 38. Damage was minor. Owners exchanged information.
About 12:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 47, reported that his 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix rental had been hit-and-run Wednesday evening while parked on Egan Drive. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear bumper.
Shortly before noon Thursday, a man, 28, was cited on Egan Drive inbound for driving while his license was revoked. He was released at the scene.
Shortly before 1 a.m. today, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Telephone Hill. The driver, a man, 22, fled the scene. He was located and arrested for driving with a non-complying license and second-degree eluding of law enforcement officers. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved in the incident.
Shortly before 1 a.m. today, police stopped a driver, a woman, 20, on Egan Drive inbound. She was cited for driving with a revoked license and released at the scene.
Shortly before 2 a.m. today, police stopped a woman, 24, on Egan Drive inbound for driving while in a non-complying status. She was released at the scene. A licensed driver left the vehicle legally parked.
